I'm not in the mood to buy lots of different nuts, toast them and then mix them all together with other ingredients.
This go around I bought a 1LB 12oz bag of Mountain Trail Mix ($5) and 2 cups oats. Melted the needed honey, butter, vanilla and brown sugar (adding a lil more, because I wanted chewy bars).
Mixed all together and baked (in a 8"x8" Hot Pink Brownie pan) for 25 min at 300 degrees.
Makes 12 nice size bars or 24 mini squares.
