Just a Dream

nothing has come of this 'Starvn Rtist' thing...a few projects here and there, but no real acknowledgements...it's something I have always done and held onto with hopes and dreams, but I guess that's all it ever really was - a dream. I'm gunna need some time to mull things over.

thank you all for the kind words (I have 'fans'!) I am truly honored. I have spent the day thinking and talking and thinking some more - some of the things I said, are true and something that also rings true is April Fools! ;) I could *never* give up on art, I could never give up on my creative spirit either. I am and shall ever be a StarvnRtist.

There isn't much to say besides 'get out and read this series!' and also *sigh* because I now have to wait til Nov 2012 to read #3.

Little 15 - Stephanie Saye

Little 15Little 15 by Stephanie Saye

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This book is not one that I would normally read. But I had it and thus I read it.

First thing that came to mind was Amy Fisher (if you don't know who she is or what she did - you can google it).

I thought it would end the same way...boy was I wrong.

I enjoyed how the main character talked to me, yes - she was directly talking to me, telling me about herself. As if, we met in an empty room and I asked 'so tell me about yourself' and she replies 'where would you like me to begin', and picks the most exciting and troublesome thing that has happened to her. I liked that.

I enjoyed it, quick read.

Celebrating 'Holidays'

I'm not one to celebrate every 'holiday' on the calendar, but I couldn't pass this one up.

Pi(e) Day!

In honor of Pi(e) day, I made crustless coconut pie, Mmm.

Half-Blood - Jennifer L. Armentrout

Half-Blood (Covenant, #1)Half-Blood by Jennifer L. Armentrout

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Wow.

This is NOTHING like Twilight (not that I thought it was). What I mean is: with Twilight it was hard to put it down, I wanted to gobble it all up in one sitting. I've read many a book since then and never really had the need to not put it down (except for a few)...I read Daimon a couple months ago and had the need to read Half-Blood, but didn't - WHY?!?!

I finally picked it up the other day and Wow! It was like nothing I had ever read. I am going to be hunting down Pure til I find it!

Just wow.

I enjoyed it.

The 'kissing' talk was a bit much, I mean do 18y/o's really talk about it as much as these characters do? It's been awhile since I was that age that I don't recall. lol

I like the 'blue fire' concept.

Interesting twist at the end.

Now to get my hands on #2 and #3.

***I'd LOVE to take a Vampire Science class***
